Noi comunità di Mysore ringraziamo Dio Onnipotente per il dono della vita e della vocazione delle nostre 3 Prepostulanti: Cheira, Eline e Rose Lima e delle 5 Postulanti: Aneena, Apollo, Maria, Sowjanya e Vedha che coraggiosamente si sono fatte avanti per entrare nella fase iniziale della loro formazione.

Con gioia e gratitudine nei nostri cuori, abbiamo iniziato la cerimonia di ingresso al Postulato e Noviziato alle 15:00, del giorno 8 dicembre, con la preghiera creativa e significativa condotta dalle Novizie del 2° anno. Tutta la comunità si è radunata nella Cappella per ringraziare Dio del dono di queste nostre sorelline e per invocare su di loro le benedizioni di Dio. Erano presenti Sr. Lucy Thomas Superiora provinciale e Sr. Judy Cheruvalli Vice Provinciale e Maestra delle Postulanti.

Il momento di preghiera è iniziato con un'introduzione sull'importanza e il significato del noviziato. Dopo siamo andati in cappella, presentando le lampade accese alle postulanti e prepostulanti. Durante la preghiera alle postulanti è stato chiesto di inginocchiarsi davanti all'altare con il simbolo del tornio e della pentola e alle prepostulanti con i simboli della porta.

Tutta la comunità ha invocato su di loro la discesa dello Spirito Santo. Dopo di che è stata letta la parola di Dio adatta e il messaggio è stato dato da Sr. Lucy. Al termine della procedura di ingresso in postulato, Sr. Lucy ha affidato le postulanti a Sr. Judy Cheruvalli, maestra delle postulanti. Poi c'è stata la preghiera dei fedeli, è stato pregato specialmente per le nuove postulanti e novizie.

Prima di concludere la preghiera Sr. Lucy ha affidato le novizie a Sr. Susan, la maestra delle novizie. Con un inno conclusivo e una preghiera di ringraziamento, abbiamo concluso il servizio di preghiera. È stata davvero una giornata felice per la nostra comunità, così come per le nuove Novizie e Postulanti. Dopo la preghiera e le fotografie con loro, le abbiamo salutate in refettorio con un Canto degli auguri e un mazzo di fiori.

Entry to the Novitiate and Postulancy  08/12/2021 

            We the community of Mysore thank the almighty God for the gift of the life and vocation of our 3 Pre-postulants: Cheira, Eline, and Rose Lima and 5 Postulants: Aneena, Apollo, Mary, Sowjanya and Vedha who courageously came forward to enter in to the initiative stage of their formation.

            With Joy and gratitude in our hearts, we began the ceremony of the entry to the Postulancy and Novitiate at 3.pm, with the creative and meaningful Prayer Service conducted by the 2^nd year Novices. The whole community was gathered in the Chapel to thank God for the gift of these our little sisters and to invoke God’s blessings on them. Sr. Lucy Thomasthe Provincial Superior and Sr. Judy Cheruvalli the vice Provincial and the Mistress of the Postulants were present. 

The Prayer service began with an introduction on the importance and significance of the novitiate and the potulancyat the entrance of our house and we proceeded to the chapel, presenting the lighted lamps to postulants and pre-postulants.

Then the prayer service continued in the chapel.   During the prayer the Postuants were asked to kneel in front of the altar with symbol of potter’s wheel and the pot and the pre-postulants the symbols of door and the whole community invoked the infilling of the Holy Spirit upon them.

After that the suitable word of God was read and the message was given by Sr. Lucy.And then the ceremony was conducted as it has to be by the provincial Sr. Lucy. At the end of the procedure of the entry to postulancy, Sr. Lucy entrusted the postulants to Sr. Judy Cheruvalli, the postulant’s mistress. Then we had the prayer of the faithful in which we specially prayed for the new Postulants and Novices.

Before concluding the prayer Sr. Lucy entrusted the Novices to Sr. Susan the novice mistress. With a concluding hymn and a thanksgiving prayer, we concluded the prayer service. It was really a blissful day to our community as well as to the new Novices and Postulants. After the prayer we took some photographs with them and then we greeted them in the refectory with a wishing Song and a bouquet of flowers.
