On Holy Saturday the whole world wasin  great silence because the King of the Universe was asleep  under the earth and on the third day He rises  with great glory and the whole universe sing Glory , Alleluia.

In such way  this time of silence due to corona virus also will come to an end , there will be a day of rising up of all people of the world to sing Glory and praises to God.

The time of Pandemic has impacted us all. But we are sure this crisis will also pass away. It has brought us to live a life totally different than the normal life. There is a great lock down everywhere it affects us a lot but we all thank God for the good decision that the civil authorities have taken for the purpose of protection and safety of the people.

As in the book of Qoelet chapter three says is a time for everything under heaven, therefore it is a time of corona virus and lockdown  so take it as the time of God because without His knowledge nothing takes place  on this earth and we trust in His words. “I will heal their scourge, I will heal and cure them, I will provide them with peace and security” (Jeremiah.33, 6).

As it is the time of lock down we face many difficulties because no celebrations, no schools, no apostolate, no traveling, etc. It affected our day to dayroutine.

But this lock down is also good because we have more time for everything a time to come more closer to God, more time to be closer to one another, more understanding,  more listening, more sharing of goods as well as ideas, etc. Those who were engaged in various apostolate such as schools, pastoral activities all have sufficient time to “STOP”... This Time of silence is very much needed to enter in to one’s own self and make an order in life.

Above all a time to be with the Lord. Most of the people have made their homes and institutes’ as a house of prayer, all call out to God with faith and Trust. Lockdown is a time to be in the cenacle to be nourished and cherished by the graces and blessings of God to be refreshed and to go forth again with much enthusiasm and energy.

“The hand of the Lord is not so short that it cannot be saved, nor is His ear so hard that it cannot be heard”. (Iasiah 59, 1).This is the assurance that we have, God listens to the cry of the poor who calls on Him.

All our Indian Pallottine communities exposes the Eucharistic Jesus daily and there is a perpetual adoration each according to their allotted time other than their internal activities. Each one become more aware of the situation and open wide the heart and mind towards the struggles of the humanity and reach out to them in Prayers.
