Le Suore della Provincia dell'Immacolata Concezione, con l'aiuto e la cooperazione della Provincia Sacra Famiglia, India, hanno aperto una nuova comunità e un apostolato nella Parrocchia di Nostra Signora di Czestohowa, Jersey City, New Jersey. Alle Suore Pallottine è stato chiesto dal parroco, p. Bryan Page, per avviare una scuola materna parrocchiale che inizierà il 7 settembre 2021.

C'è un edificio conventuale che necessita di importanti lavori di ristrutturazione nella parrocchia dove padre Page intende collocare l'asilo al primo piano, con alloggi per le suore al secondo piano.

Fa parte del suo progetto anche avere un Centro di Evangelizzazione al terzo piano del convento.

Per il momento l'asilo nido sarà ubicato nell'edificio della scuola elementare parrocchiale.

Sabato 28 agosto 2021, Sr. Rini e Sr. Laveena si sono trasferite nella loro nuova casa al 273 di Grove Street, Jersey City, New Jersey 07302. Sono arrivate presto per arredare la casa secondo le loro esigenze.Più tardi, le sorelle Michele, Rita, Shinty, Jyothi e Roseline si sono unite a loro per le 17:00 e partecipare alla Messa nella chiesa parrocchiale. Dopo la Messa, il Padre ha benedetto la residenza dove le suore abiteranno fino al completamento dei lavori di ristrutturazione del convento definitivo.Le suore sono state poi invitate a condividere un pasto con p. Bryan.Suor Rini insegnerà all'asilo con l'aiuto di uno staff laico. Suor Laveena vivrà con lei fino all'arrivo delle altre tre sorelle della Provincia Sacra Famiglia. Continuerà i suoi studi, il suo lavoro come Economa Provinciale e come catechista parrocchiale presso la Parrocchia di S. Anastasia, Harriman, NY.Siamo felici di avere la presenza delle Suore Pallottine in un'altra parrocchia e non vediamo l'ora di avere le tre nuove Suore della Provincia Sacra Famiglia che si uniscono a noi.Chiediamo di continuare a pregare con noi affinché tutte le pratiche burocratiche necessarie, riguardanti l'arrivo delle suore dall'India, possano essere concluse e che le restrizioni di viaggio per il Covid 19 possano presto porre fine. Suor Michele Ruggiero

New Apostolate and Community for Immaculate Conception Province

We, the Sisters of Immaculate Conception Province, with the help and cooperation of Holy Family Province, established a new community and apostolate in Our Lady of Czestohowa Parish, Jersey City, New Jersey.  The Pallottine Sisters were asked by the Pastor, Fr. Bryan Page, to begin a Parish Nursery School which will begin September 7, 2021.  There is a convent building in need of major renovations in the parish where Father Page intends to place the nursery on the first floor, with living quarters for the Sisters on the second floor.  It is also part of his plan to have an Evangelization Center on the third floor of the convent.  For the time being the nursery school will be located in the parish elementary school building.

On Saturday, August 28, 2021, Sr. Rini and Sr. Laveena moved into their new home at 273 Grove Street, Jersey City, New Jersey  07302.  They arrived early in the day to organize the house according to their needs.  Later in the day Sisters Michele, Rita, Shinty, Jyothi and Roseline joined them for the 5 p.m. Mass at the parish church.  Following the Mass, Father blessed the residence where the Sisters would be living until renovations of the original convent are completed.  The Sisters were then invited to share a meal with Fr. Bryan.

Sr. Rini will teach at the nursery school with the help of a lay staff.              Sr. Laveena will live with her until the three additional Sisters from Holy Family Province arrive.  She will continue her own studies, her work as Province Treasurer and as a parish catechist at St. Anastasia Parish, Harriman, NY.

We are happy to have the presence of the Pallottine Sisters in another parish and look forward to having three new Sisters from Holy Family Province join us.  Please continue to pray with us that any necessary paper work regarding the Sisters arrival from India may be concluded and that the Covid 19 travel restrictions may soon be ended.
